Bus and Truck Crash on Hope Street Injures No One
Thirty three bus passengers escape injury after a Short Line bus collides with a stone wall at 1236 Hope street. The bus driver, Clifton T. Holman, says he horned to pass a truck driven by Frank J. Palumbo who slowed to turn left. Both vehicles were southbound. Holman mounted the embankment to avoid collision. Part of the wall collapsed. one passenger suffered a nervous shock and three truck occupants were shaken.
