Teachers Banquet Honors Bristol County Educators
A Bristol County Teachers Association banquet at Hotel Belvedere, Tuesday, celebrated the final gathering before fall. About 75 teachers attended from Warren and surrounding towns. Col. Merton A Cheesman funded floral decorations and pink corsages. Speeches preserved by Miss Louise F Crown and Miss Virginia Baker paid tribute to ancient and modern pedagogy, with readings from David Copperfield and a poem on teachers of old Bristol County.
