Alphonse Vermette Dies Unexpectedly at 53 in Bristol
Retired business man Alphonse Vermette died yesterday at 410 Thames Street after a brief illness. Funeral services are set for tomorrow morning at St Mary’s Church with a requiem mass and interment in St Mary’s Cemetery. He leaves a wife two daughters and two sons plus four brothers and two sisters. He was born in St Joachim Ontario and lived in Bristol for 38 years.

A class of four children celebrated their first Holy Communion at St Mary’s Church during the 8 o’clock Mass yesterday morning.
