Town Council debates bath house site and costs in Bristol

At the October meeting Octave LeClair presented a protest signed by nearly all Burton street property owners against bath houses at the foot of Burton street and near the seawall. He suggested two locations and discussed sewer outflow plans while Council considered legal remedies and other town business including a dog crackdown, milk inspector election, and street projects.

St Alban's Lodge honors 50 year members

At a St Alban's Lodge No 6 F and A M meeting on a Wednesday evening Parmenas Skinner Jr and John Wood received life membership jewels and certificates for 50 years of membership. Howard R Newman Master presented them. An honor roll of 10 National Service members was unveiled and talks followed by refreshments.

Patriotic Meeting Honors Service Flag At St Andrews Club

A large turnout from St Andrew's Club and St Michael's men filled the chapel for a patriotic service flag dedication. Miss Lillian Church unveiled the flag with Norman Bovay and Wallace Abbot flankers as bugler sounds colors. Rev. Percy Kammerer defined democracy as liberty equality and love and addressed the attendees.
