Weimaraner puppies for charity in Barrington
Mrs. Dahl and Mr. George Dahl of Barrington own Vicki a Weimaraner with a litter of five puppies for sale at 150 dollars each to support the Barrington Baptist Church building fund. The dog, described as affectionate and shadowing her family, drew praise for good disposition and hunting heritage. Proceeds will aid local religious institutions and the Providence Barrington Bible School. The breed arrived in the United States about 25 years ago, with a noted history of early breeding attempts in Germany.

Dr. C Paul Bruno announces a single day polio vaccine clinic on Thursday from 9 to 12 at Rockwell House. Eligible are residents 20 years and older, with prior cards available for those who missed earlier clinics.
