Civilian training camp applications are now available for the Casahan Military Training Camp to be held at Camp Desens from August 1 to 31, 1922. The program targets young men aged 17 to 27 who are U.S. citizens and physically qualified. The recruiting deadline is May 31, with free physical exams and inoculations offered. The Bristol area Boy Scout activities include drills for all three troops this week as they prepare for the District Rally. The Balls are set for next Thursday at 6 30 pm on the common. Troop formed a baseball team with Senior Pro Lrasmo Mancimi elected manager. Weekend hike to Camp Takarest depends on weather. A battalion drill Monday evening at 7 30 at scout head quarters will be the final drill before the Ralls Meet. Next Tuesday evening Third Troop hosts Parents Night at Bo T A armory at 8 o'clock. Scouts and friends invited. Troops 1 and 2 will meet Wednesday night for final Rally practice preceded by a short drill. Owl Patrol of Troop 1 had a bean supper with all members present. Patrol leader Edward Blackman led and plans for the patrol's future were discussed.
