Red Cross Appeals For Flood Relief Donations
The American Red Cross Bristol Branch appeals for funds to aid Mississippi flood sufferers. Dimes can be dropped in boxes at Buffington’s Pharmacies and the Bristol Phoenix office or mailed to Miss Nelson. Red Cross rooms at the post office accept donations Tuesday to Thursday 1 to 6 pm. Several individuals and groups contributed amounts ranging from 1 to 50 dollars.

Roland Haddon 40 Hope street Warren was in a coupe on Hope street near Chestnut when struck by a touring car driven by Manuel Barbosa 51 Oliver street.
