MR BRISTOL George Fish Dies at 77 After Long Public Service
George Rowland Fish 77 died yesterday at Providence VA Hospital after a three week illness. A lifelong public servant, he led youth programs with the Bristol County Boy Scouts and veterans and fraternal groups. He founded Troop One in 1912 and was Rhode Island’s first Eagle Scout. Funeral service set for tomorrow at St Michael's Episcopal Church with an honor guard from Narragansett Boy Scouts. His body remains in state at Kearney Post on Franklin Street.

Youths Assume Town Offices In Elk Program
Fifteen high school students selected by faculty took part in Elk’s Nation Youth Day program serving in town offices.
