Funeral of James DeWolf Perry
The funeral for 66 year old James DeWolf Perry of 996 Hope Street was held Thursday at Trinity Episcopal Chapel. He was cousin to the late Rt Rev James DeWolf Perry former Bishop of Rhode Island. Officiating were Rev John P Beauchamp and Rev James DeWolf Perry. Burial followed at Juniper Hill Cemetery. Bearers were Ernest E Alder Hezekiah Church Stephen W Hopkins Ralph F Kinder Prescott B Paull and Samuel C Wardwell.

Miss Mary Josephine Murphy 82 of 24 Congregational Street died in a Providence hospital after a brief illness. Born April 1, 1865 she worked at the old Keds Department Bristol division of US Rubber Co from 1888 until retirement in 1927. Survivors include two sisters Jennie Murphy and Mrs Hugh Breen. Funeral from C M Connery Funeral Home followed by Mass at St Marys Church. Burial in St Marys Cemetery.
