Enrollment opens early April for CCC youths nationwide
The next CCC enrollment period begins in early April with applications at the Local State Employment Office. Eligible youths ages 17 to 23 1/2, unemployed and out of school, can join a non military program offering eight dollars monthly, room for growth, training in carpentry forestry and more, and potential leaders' roles with pay raises.

Chief Justice Charles Evans Hughes chairs a National Probation Association centennial committee with Justices Felix Frankfurter and Frank Murphy.
