Fire and police officials continued their investigation into a Friday night blaze that damaged a railroad boxcar holding insulated wire from US Rubber Company. Fire Chief Fred Guevremont noted one seal was broken while workers said no one smoked in the car as flames spread from center to ends. the car was returned to Providence under railroad supervision after firefighters arrived just after 7 o'clock.
