Highway Surveyor Richard Connery reports 125 loads of debris collected in a town wide cleanup and warns the dump will remain busy even with an incinerator. He urges residents to tie bundles and use proper containers to speed collection and reduce truck time.
The Bristol Senior High School staged Tulip Time in Colt Auditorium at 8 pm with Mrs Donovan directing the music by the Bristol High Band. Cast included Joseph Arruda, Mary Lou Serbst, Anne Bruno, Christina, Joseph Ferreira, Hendrick Van Ooster, and many others. Programs listed specialty groups, stage management, and design credits amid a sold out run with another showing tonight and a final public performance tomorrow night.
A meeting is planned for Tuesday evening March 26 at 7 30 at the YMCA to organize a Twilight League. Hubert F Hill of the Recreation Board notes early interest and aims to authorize team reps to advance league formation.
Frank E Waterman met with the Planning Board and Zoning Board to discuss a Bristol map that would show proposed highways in undeveloped areas. One woman paid $42 for assorted goods and samples. others paid as little as $5 for ten pair. He offered discounts or extra shirts as inducement and planned to collect the balance on delivery. Authorities urge residents to report any door to door sales attempts promptly.
Bertram W Wall reports to Chairman James E Sullivan on the Veterans Retraining and Reemployment Committee activities for the year ending Feb 28 1946 noting 475 veterans aided. The program highlights PortaGraph copies of discharges and certificates, 305 veterans served, 475 interviews, and 305 total veterans helped with varied referrals and assistance.
The Recreation Board recommended Carl T Carlson to fill the vacancy left by Hubert F Hill who is leaving to become Wakefield YMCA general secretary. The Town Council must approve the nomination. Annual budget plans allocate about 700 dollars for salaries and equipment, plus 200 to 300 for special services such as pond cleaning and winter snow and skating season needs.
A mass meeting will be held Monday night at 7 30 in the Reynolds School Auditorium for all school going youths from 9th grade up and returned veterans to discuss the Beach project. Hubert F Hill, chairman, urges prompt arrival to show interest and support.

Saturday dance by Our Business Club at Independent Hall on April 20. April 25 features Spring Fling sponsored by H1-Y in the YMCA. April 26 hosts a Girl Scout Rummage Sale for Camp Hoffman Fund at St Michael's Parish House.

He envisions mass production to meet demand with rental at 35 a month including utilities and notes heating via a radiant system. Local business supporters back the plan amid opposition claiming cost waste.
