The Rev. Archie H. Burdick, superintendent of the Seamen's Church Institute, accepts an interim three month appointment as Episcopal chaplain to the Rhode Island Veterans Home. He will begin services at 10:30 a.m. each Saturday at the Home, spend most of the week visiting residents, and remain available for emergencies.
