Unnamed speaker condemns Nazi child abuse and anti Jewish mistreatment

The quotation denounces unkind acts by children of respectable families during Nazi influence. It accuses the Nazis of dragging children into debasement through anti-Semitic teaching and notes parents' stunned failure to act.

The text recounts Kurt a boy living with an orphaned uncle and a factory owner punished for family obedience to Nazi orders. It also tells of Hubert at his birthday where a Jew named Jacob is invited, leading to a breakdown and Hubert's later suicide after the father’s beating and pressure to conform to Nazi "true German" ideals.
