Civil Air Patrol Expects Cadet Inoculations and Picnic
Cadets of the local Civil Air Patrol squadron received the Typhoid Fever inoculation and smallpox treatment as part of preparations for a two week encampment in New England. Announcement also notes three new PT-17 trainers acquired from the RAF and a first annual picnic on Sunday July 1 to Prudence Island with outdoor games and lunches. Cpl Frank DeLuca, flight leader, said farewell as he leaves for U S Coast Guard service.
