Legion Juniors Arrange Ball Schedule With Local Groups
The Kearney Post American Legion Junior team will play West Warwick Juniors at 6 15 p m today. Local groups the Twilights Softball League Little League and the American Legion Junior Ball Club arranged field use to secure home games. Little League officials shifted a game to June 28 and will let the Legion use Guiteras Field on July 31, while Softball and Twilight Leagues adjusted schedules to avoid conflicts.

Bookie Arrest After Surprise Raid at Skippy's Bar

Members of the Italian American World War Veterans Bristol Post No 1 adopted the name of Sgt Anthony M Cappucci USMC the town’s Korean War fatality as their unit title. A column recounts the eighth annual U S Editors Goodwill Tour of Ontario. Twenty five editors from 24 states toured 2000 miles, visiting Buffalo Windsor and Toronto with hospitality from Ontario Travel and Publicity Bureau.
