Seekonk Woman Fails in Attempt to End Life
Mrs. Emily Keyser of Seekonk Massachusetts, wife of an Army officer, drank poison in a bid to take her life. She was found unconscious on Hope Street near Usher Place around 2 30 AM Wednesday and admitted to St Josephs Hospital for treatment with hope of recovery. She was seen Tuesday evening near the Bristol Yacht Club asking questions about local police rounds bridge height and harbor depth. Police were alerted by Miss Margaret Morris and Dr W L Serbst ordered her removal to Colt Memorial Ambulance for care. Family says long poor health may have contributed to the act.

Mrs Isabel Morris Injured In Street Accident
Mrs Isabel Morris of Wood street sustained leg and back injuries Tuesday afternoon when a truck driven by Samuel Jardine struck a parked car owned by her brother William Simmons at 145 Bay View avenue. Police arrested Jardine on a charge of driving a vehicle with defective brakes and she received treatment from Dr Harold DeWolf and Dr William Serbst at Patpolman Baker's home.
