Pageant To Be Held At Biiven Field For 250th Anniversary
Rogers Brothers of Ohio will present the historical pageant at Biiven Field chosen as the site by the celebration executive committee. The event will run on September 24 25 and 26 with additional actors and scenery to be finalized. Haley and Sykes of Providence win the bid to print a 16 page advertising booklet and a larger souvenir program will be bid out.

Medals Awarded in Bristol Rifle Club Members’ Match
Lieut Albert Hartley secretary of the Bristol Train of Artillery Rifle Club received the National Rifle Association Members’ Match Medal for the high score of 1152 out of 1250. Second place went to Lieut Freeman Canning and third to Mrs Ethel Hartley with a total of 92. Proficiency Medals were awarded to eight members for 90 percent or better in the Civilian Inter Club Tire Rifle Match held last February, with Bristol ranking 15th among clubs nationally.

Announcement says New England Transportation motor coach service from Bristol to Providence changes effective June 25. The 6 40 P M Bristol departure will run Saturdays and Sundays only instead of daily. The 7 10 P M coach will go daily, and the 8 10 P M coach will depart Bristol at 8 30 P M with Warren at 8 55 P M on Fridays and Saturdays.
