Bristol Council Eyes Federal Reimbursement for Sewage Plant Damages
Town Council instructs solicitor to pursue government reimbursement from PWA for explosions that damaged the sewage disposal plant control house, a claim the sponsor says could cover months of plant costs. The meeting also lays groundwork for hearings on “fire trap” premises and expands WPA projects including athletic field work at Guiteras, with town officials coordinating with state health and relief agencies.
