Graduation Exercises At John Post Reynolds And Colt Memorial High
The class of 1921 graduation at John Post Reynolds School is set for Tuesday at 2 PM in the school auditorium. Colt Memorial High School will hold its commencement Thursday at 8:15 PM in its auditorium with a full program of songs essays and addresses. The event includes a reception next Friday at 8 PM, the school paper The Green and White is being printed and will contain extensive alumni notes and class features, with a detailed editorial staff listed.

Veterans Entertained by Slocum Relief Groups at Soldiers' Home
Slocum Relief Corps Providence with about 40 members led by Commander James Hubbard and members from Slocum Post No 10 GA.R. and Bucklin Relief Corps plus Salisbury Camp Sons of Veterans visited the Soldiers' Home Tuesday. An entertainment arranged by Mrs Minnie Boak featured recitations, vocal solos, dancing, and a sketch. Ice cream and cake followed with Mrs Sarah F Bartlett in charge. Reminiks were given by Mrs Abhie Kinnecum, Commander James Hubbard, and Comrade J Wilbur.

Memorial to Rev Locke Installed at St Michael's Church
A white marble bas relief of Rev George L. Locke, D. D., is installed at the left front of St Michael's Church chancel arch. It will be dedicated next Sunday at 10.30 by Rt. Rev. James DeWolf Perry, with a special service and a bishopric sermon. The rite of confirmation will be conferred by the Bishop during the service. The memorial slab, three by five and a half feet, depicts Locke in clerical robes and was created by J. E. Fraser of New York. The installation was supervised by Fraser and supported by a large parish committee which also oversaw the marble memorial shaft erected last fall.

Colonel Clark Harrison Straight prominent town businessman and veteran died after long illness and stroke in 1915. Born 1846 West Greenwich R I he moved to this town in 1866 and married Julia Vergerson who died earlier. Survived by mother, two brothers, six children, three grandchildren, and several relatives.
