BSHS Teachers Granted $100 Raise by Committee
The School Committee in executive session approved a $100 annual raise for 16 high school teachers plus $100 for Michael Securo dean of boys and Miss Doris Bullock dean of women. An extra $100 will go to teachers with 30 semester hours beyond a Master’s. The plan, effective 1957-58, follows state aid rules to spend 70 percent on certified salaries.
