Home for Aged Women Elects Officers at Annual Meeting
The eighteenth annual meeting of the Home for Aged Women on Franklin Street was held on June 8 at four o'clock. Rev. T. N. Owens presided. Officers elected for the coming year include President Miss Harriet B Luther and Treasurer Mrs. Charles A. Johnson. The secretary and treasurer filed reports detailing regular meetings, donations, and financials, noting no deaths and a quiet year with generous community support.

School Committee Reelected Teachers and Raised Salaries
The School Committee met last evening to re elect teachers for the year with higher salaries and to appoint committees. President Rev W R Trotter and others presided. Arthur L Williams was re elected Principal of the High School and Miss Helen A Stedman retained as assistant. A long list of teachers was elected and salaries raised across the board. Committees were named for accounts evening schools grammar primary schools high school hygiene and other areas. A bid process for school houses was approved and repairs planned at Franklin street and Burton Schools. The Colt High School was damaged in a recent break in and repair was started. Coal deliveries to seven buildings totaled 1437.83 dollars. A continuation on fourth page.
