U S Cruiser Tacoma to Visit Bristol Harbor on July Fourth
The U S Cruiser Tacoma, 3100 tons with 308 men and 18 officers, will arrive July 1 in Bristol harbor and stay through July 4. About 300 sailors will march in the parade, with Fort Adams Band leading the ships company. A detailed fireworks program at Linden Place marks the centennial celebration of the Dawol t mansion, featuring Pain of New York displays and Herreshoff Band performances.
