Trifocal Glasses Expanding Use Across America
About half a million Americans wear trifocal lenses and the number is expected to rise to seven million in five years. Continuous vision lenses ease focus shifts from 18 to 50 inches and may extend working life for many adults over 40. A survey found 60 percent say trifocals are easier to adapt than bifocals, while 40 percent find them about as difficult.
