Final summer meeting of the Girls Friendly Society of St Michael church hosted by the candidates class. Canon Parshley led prayers as mothers and friends enjoyed songs recitations and accordion selections with folk dancing. Refreshments were provided. toys and pasteboard soldiers were assembled for hospitals. Activities resume in September.
