WPA Worker Stricken on Way Home in Bristol
Gioacchino Annania a 48 year old WPA worker from 141 Bradford street collapsed on High street yesterday afternoon and died of a heart attack. A passerby and motorist rendered aid and he was taken to Dr A F D'Angelo's office where death was confirmed. Medical Examiner Dr Charles B O Rourke ruled death due to heart attack. Born in Milaso Italy in 1888 he came to Bristol in 1906. Survived by his Italy based parents burial plans not yet set.

Daughters of the American Revolution Bristol Chapter elected Mrs Charles F Thompson regent at its annual meeting in the Chapter House on Franklin Street. She succeeds Mrs Samuel C Wardwell, who served a four year term. Officers elected include Miss Alice Alms vice regent and several secretaries, treasurer, historian, and librarian.
