Brothers in Arms Split Across Pacific in 1950s Era
Two Bristol brothers, George and Jack Moore, serve on opposite sides of the Pacific. George, a 23 year old Army private, recently finished platoon tests with Company D, 34th Regiment, 24th Infantry Division after enlisting last November. Jack serves as an 8 crewman aboard the giant aircraft carrier Ticonderoga stationed in San Francisco. Their parents, Mr and Mrs George Moore of 865 Hope Street, follow news of their sons with pride.
