Bristol seeks delay in sewage plant ruling appeal
Judge Edw L Leahy legal counsel for Bristol filed an appeal from a State Board of Purification of Waters order directing installation of a sewage treatment plant by Dec 30 1931 and plans by Oct 1. He asks for a stay and time extension arguing lack of board jurisdiction and improper admission of unsworn stenographic reports at hearings. The petition will be heard Tuesday June 24.

Israel Makowski Becomes Doctor
Israel Makowski, son of Mr and Mrs Max Makowski, graduated yesterday from Jefferson Medical College Philadelphia. He plans three weeks at home, then an internship at City Hospital Providence for six months starting July 1. He will then enter Bellevue Hospital New York to practice medicine and surgery for a year and a half. He is a 1924 graduate of Col Memorial High School, where he served as class president and editor of The Green.
