Old Time Minstrel Show At St. Michael’s Church
The Men's Brotherhood of St. Michael's Church presents a two night old time minstrel show directed by Fred M. Straight in the Parish House with end men Eddie LeClerc Allen M. Newman George M. Hayes and Rev A R Parshley as cast. Soloists Harry W. Munro Fred G. Dietz Vernon A. Gray. Dancers and chorus include Dorothy St Angelo Elizabeth Rounds Muriel Ashton Mildred Newman Lillian Kerhaw Frieda Schafft Edith Kershaw Gertrude Evers Mae Newman Eliza beth Rounds and Elsie Cheshire. A post show dance follows for evening entertainment.

A detachment of 23 Bristol Train of Artillery officers and men attended the Ancient and Honorable Artillery of Boston for their annual meeting and officer elections. The group traveled by special bus to participate in the parade and banquet accompanying the event.

Presiding Bishop Confirms Class At St Michael's
The Most Rev James DeWolf Perry confirmed a class of 20 at St Michael's Church Bristol on Sunday morning. Fourteen were adults as Bishop Perry delivered a sermon on Christian Life and Worship as the Language of the Spirit. SAILS FOR EUROPE ON MAJESTIC TO JOIN FAMILY
Mr Francis Colt deWolf sailed from New York on the SS Majestic on May 15. He will join Mrs deWolf and their two sons who have been in Cannes. They will go to Geneva for State Department negotiations. The couple plans to open a new Washington home in the fall, formerly the Russian Legation.

YMCA Campaign Opens With $1405 Pledged in Start
The Y M C A drive for $5000 began with a Rockwell Hall supper at 6 15 p m and speeches led by Dr A M Merriman. F E C Worman predicted success citing past campaigns while plans to reduce debt and fund bathrooms and interior work were outlined. Special Gifts Committee reported $1045 raised. multiple teams and captains listed along with a large Ladies Auxiliary group aiding the drive.

Bristol Ordered to Install Sewage Plant by 1931
The State Board of Purification of Waters orders Bristol to install a sewage treatment plant by December 31 1931 and submit plans by October 1 1930 after a six month hearing into harbor pollution from raw sewage. Memorial Day Observed by Local Posts and Bands
Memorial Day was observed fittingly in town by Babbitt Post No. 15 and other patriotic groups. The parade formed at 9 am, headed by Chief Marshal William A. Francis, with captioned aides and bands. Ceremonies at North Cemetery included prayers, addresses, dirges, and Gettysburg Address read by Miss Frederica Dusbar, with later services at Burnside Memorial Building.
