Y M C A Opens First Five Year Financial Drive Next Week
The Y M C A plans its first five year financial campaign in five years starting Monday evening with a Rockwell Hall supper at 6 15. Principal speaker will be E C Worman assistant State Secretary for Massachusetts and Rhode Island who previously worked in Bombay India. The drive aims to raise about 5000 to fund building repairs and improvements amid a current 1800 deficit and is backed by Secretary Earl H Hobson who has improved the organization finances. Bristol New Haven and Woonsocket campaigns cited as recent regional successes.
