At a Tuesday meeting held at Mrs. Ernest Gray’s Fatima Drive home about 20 members outlined a summer program. The first event is a June 26 covered dish supper chaired by Mrs. Gray with a July cake sale chaired by Mrs. Wilfred Beausoleil. A clam bake is planned for August and a square dance in September.

Recreation Board Plans Town Beach Opening
The Board of Recreation prepared for the town beach opening with a cleanup led by chairman C C Cirillo. Bulldozing and grading remain as a firm is arranged to remove glass. Construction of a beach building with dressing rooms and refreshment stand is set to begin within two weeks. The beach is planned to open June 25 with sun lovers already seen and playground equipment receiving fresh paint.
