Yachts Defender and Columbia remained anchored after repairs at Sandy Hook and Newport respectively. Defender’s bent steel boom is repaired. Two breaks occurred Friday on the Maine road causing water shutoffs and loss of fire protection until repairs by Waldrop Brownell Co. crews finished by 3 a.m. Saturday. Funeral of Veteran Comrade Andrew Robb at Soldiers' Home
The funeral for Comrade Andrew Robb, who died at the Soldiers' Home, took place Saturday morning. Rev William K Trotter led services, with interment in the North cemetery GAR plot at Bristol Neck.
