Visits to Soldiers Home by Babbitt Relief Corps and Post
Thirty members of the Babbitt Women’s Relief Corps and twenty of the Post visited veterans at the Soldiers Home on Wednesday evening. Commander Finch introduced Commander Hall and a cordial welcome was extended. The program included songs, recitations, piano and violin solos, and dances. A cake and fruit donation plus jelly for the hospital accompanied the event.

Coroners Inquest On San Souci Boy Death Resumes
The inquest into the death of the San Souci boy from the Columbia launching resumed at 10 o clock in district court. Coroner C H Spooner presides assisted by Attorney I S Hoffman. Witnesses today include E G Rennie of Block Island, Walter Dawson’s assistant on the Hashlight, Chief of Police Hoard, George Morgan, Pawtucket pharmacist, and Willie Siddall, another injured boy. Siddall was brought to the courthouse in a carriage and Dawson, who discharged the flash light, is likely to be recalled.
