St Germain Bill Extends Medicare Coverage
Congressman Fernand J. St Germain with colleagues sponsors a bill to provide Medicare coverage for teachers and public employees in 11 states not covered by Social Security. Rhode Island Connecticut Massachusetts and Maine are among those affected. The act would let HEW enter agreements with states to extend Medicare.
