Charity Concert Marks Indoor Debut of Train of Artillery Band
The Bristol Train of Artillery Band led by Mrs. M Theresa Donovan gives its first indoor concert Thursday at Guiteras Memorial School auditorium. Proceeds benefit the Rotary Club food station for undernourished Bristol schoolchildren. Assisting are Elsie Lovell Hankins and Overseas Quartet of Providence. The program features marches overtures operatic selections and vocal solos with most seats sold.

The 243rd C. A. unit Bat tery C is among the youngest units and ranks high. At Church Street Armory 41 gunners tested with 33 achieving high marks. Commanded by Capt. A. A. Moren and aided by Lieut.
