The package includes 354000 for department running expenses and bond interest, plus six resolutions on a sewage disposal plant a World War veterans memorial building zoning highway projects and a new public school building.

Girl Struck by Bus in Wood Street Incident
Florence Jordan, daughter of Arthur F. Jordan of 27 Cole Street, was struck by a New England Transportation Co bus on Wood Street near Cole Street yesterday noon. Police report says she darted into the street while crossing from west to east and suffered cuts and bruises but no serious injuries. Bus operator Hector J. Cournoyer of 367 Knight Street Providence swerved to avoid her but hit her on the right side of the bumper. She was aided to Waitham Perry’s store where Dr Angelo DeAngelo treated her.

Rotary Frolic Burlesque Show at Guiteras School
