Navy Recruiting Office Extends Hours to 8 PM Weeknights
Lt. Comdr. George O. Hackett announced the Navy Recruiting Station in Providence will stay open until 8 pm Monday through Friday to counsel with prospective enlistees and obtain parental consent papers. He said many enlistment packets are awaiting guardians signatures and that recruiters will meet at offices or homes by appointment. Bristol office in the Post Office remains open Wednesdays 1 to 3 pm.
