Florida Keys Draw Tourists With New Water And Road Access
The Florida Keys, long a winter paradise, gain accessibility and modern services after a pipeline from Homestead and a new power supply. The Overseas Highway now spans about 140 miles with 60 to 70 miles of bridge, enabling four hour drives from Miami to Key West. Historic bridges linked Flagler’s railroad and postwar upgrades have transformed theKeys into a reachable, year round resort with fishing and warm climates for visitors and potential investors.
