Editorial on Bristol School Committee discount misstatements
The Bristol Journal and Bulletin editorial defends the Bristol correspondent against a misreported claim about discounts on school bills. It clarifies that the $140 cited covered a year’s printing from 1909 to 1910, that the Phoenix bill was only $2.50, and that typical cash discounts range from 2% to 20% depending on supplier terms, with net prices after deductions.
