Bristol Train of Artillery Plans 150th Anniversary Day
The Bristol Train of Artillery marks 150 years since its 1776 organization with a 3 PM parade from the armory on State Street, dedication of a granite marker near the old Dear Alarm Post, a 6 PM banquet at the Hotel Belvedere, and a dance in the hotel sun parlor. Officers and men are to report in full dress blue at 2 PM.

Colt Memorial High School students presented The Gypsy Rover a three act musical comedy for the Athletic Association with scenery by students. Rob and Meg lead a Gypsy tale of elopement imprisonment and eventual fortune, featuring a large cast including Edward Peterson Eloise McGrath Betty Kinder Louis Evans and many others with a London setting and English chorus and gypsy troupe.
