Recovered His Sight After Lumber Accident

LeRoy D. Bell, struck by a falling lumber pile at National India Rubber Co, woke at Rhode Island Hospital Tuesday able to see. He regained full sight by day’s end with X rays showing no fracture and no operation needed. he hopes to return home soon.

Town Council Leases Pastime Theatre To Dillon Three Years

Town Council acting as Board of Canvassers reviews voting lists for upcoming caucuses and approves a three year lease of the Pastime Theatre to Charles H Dillon at 1200 dollars per year with three months prepaid. Moose visit Bristol entertains at Pastime Theatre

A Cranston Lodge delegation of Moose members visited the Pastime Theatre on a Wednesday evening. They arrived around 8 45, were greeted by King Philip lodge members and Boy Scouts, and presented Manager Charles H. Dillon with a gold watch chain and charm. The group sang and enjoyed clam chowder served in Mosbe Hall before departing about 1 am.

Washington Party at Hotel Belvedere Sun Parlors

A Washington party will be hosted in the Sun Parlors of the Hotel Belvedere next Tuesday evening. Miss Ella Ramsdell and Prof Quirk will dance the Argentine tango with Ramsdell offering toe dancing. 500 colored lights will decorate the room and George Washington's hatchet will be displayed uniquely. Brown Team at Y M C A Gymnasium Exhibition

Brown University gymnasium team under Captain Edward Hincks will present a program at the Y M C A gymnasium next Monday at eight o clock. The display includes calisthenics apparatus work and indoor games with a featured basketball exhibition. Admission is free and the public is invited.

St. Agnes Guild of the Junior Auxiliary of Trinity Church organized Tuesday evening in the Parish House. Officers elected include President Miss Emily Manchester and Vice President Miss Lillian Hadfield. A Valentine party is planned for tomorrow at 8 o'clock in the Parish House.
