Bristol Chapter DAR Meeting and Guest Day Programs
Bristol Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution hosts a Monday afternoon meeting at 56 Franklin Street with a shower for Ellis Island station and Rev. Anthony R. Parshley speaking on autographs. Hostesses include Mrs. Easterbrooks and others, followed by Washington's Birthday observance February 23 at the Hotel Belvedere with Rhode Island Historian John W. The Democratic Town Committee met at the Hotel Belvedere to discuss filing candidates for town offices next Monday February 9. The Republican Town Committee will convene tonight to hear its interview panel report. Democratic and Republican caucuses are slated for February 18 and 20 respectively. Richard Burke was elected president of the Democratic Club with Thomas B Lavey as secretary and Thomas M McGrath as treasurer. J Francis McGrath addressed the meeting.
