Town Council Meeting Closes Fiscal Year with Postponed Patrolman Choice
The last regular Town Council session of the year was held Wednesday evening with full attendance except Lanphear who is away. Patrolman appointment delayed until after the town election due to an incomplete board. A 16-signer petition backing Saverio Rinaldi for patrolman was presented by A. D. Lollo. Nine candidates remain, six votes previously cast yielded no choice.

Artillery Monthly Meeting Honors Sharpshooters With Medals
The Bristol Train of Artillery held a closing session at the Armory on State Street. medals and bars were awarded for experts, sharpshooters, and marksmen from the State Range in Rumford. A chowder supper and smoker followed at the Bristol Hotel with speeches and khaki uniforms distributed for the Annual Inspection.
