Band Fetes Forand With Testimonial Concert
The Narragansett Band of Riverside and Warren honored Congressman elect Aimee Forand with a concert at the Soldiers Home last night. Col Patrick Cunningham praised Forand’s public service record while veterans gathered to salute retiring commandant Forand who leaves Jan 1 for Congress. He thanked veterans groups and pledged support for veteran measures and paid tribute to Adjutant Fimil Klein and the executive staff. Band director Wallace S. Steere led the ensemble.
