Weekend Yale social calendar crowded with Bristol parties

With seven days until Christmas Bristol hosts a crowded weekend of Yale events. The Employees' Association of United States Rubber Company plans a major party tonight with about 450 attendees and a minstrel show. other groups host Christmas gatherings across Saturday Sunday and Monday including Girl Scout, Mount Hope Eastern Star, Olympian Club Y M C A, Italo American Club and Daughters of Isabella events.

Child injured after fall near Reynolds School

Theresa Salcone age 10 suffered a severe laceration to the left elbow and bruises to the left knee when she fell near Reynolds School. She received first aid from Mrs Mary L Sanford and was taken to Dr John A Mellone’s office where three stitches closed the wound.

Doctor’s Chicago lecture on stammering leads to odd wind swept meeting

Dr Frederick Martin, director of Martin Hall, recounts a 1921 Chicago trip for a stammering lecture. He leaves a party late at the Auditorium Hotel on a windy night and notices a man ahead struck by a paper blown from a sidewalk. Weeks later Dr Harris’s letter mentions Henry Shaefer seeking treatment, with plans shifting to fall.
