Oksheda Christmas Tale of Treasure and Hope
A historical style Christmas tale recounts a family history from Devonshire roots to a northern fortune cached by a father. The story follows hardships, a longing for "oksheda wechasta," and a postwar renewal as the oksheda children decorate a riverbank farmhouse tree. Indians visit the settlement for the festival of the Oksheba's Christmas near the owl rock by the river.
