Awards to two outstanding Italian pupils will be presented by the Bristol Italo American Club at next year’s graduation exercises. One medal goes to the top beginner and one to the top advanced student. Superintendent Elmer S. Mapes Edward J Fitzgerald Colt Memorial High School principal and Italian teacher Miss Theresa Marino will set the criteria.
Hope Circle No 70 Daughters of Isabella will host a Christmas party for members' children next Sunday afternoon at the K of C Home on State street. Santa Claus will attend and mitts will be distributed. Mrs Thomas H Barnes chairs the children’s party committee with several aides named. A Yuletide social for members follows in the same hall with planning led by Miss Mary Callan and committee members.
