Elias Corey of 394 Metacom Avenue Warren drove a sedan that collided with the Brockway truck Miss Bristol operated by Salvatore Bisignano of Metacom Avenue near Mt Hope Avenue at the High and Franklin streets corner yesterday afternoon around 1 30. The sedan was pushed into an electric light pole but no injuries were reported.
The Christmas basket fund of Kearney Post No 6 American Legion shows total contributions of $60.00 with donors including J H 3.00 Jsw 1.00, Mr and Mrs C F Dimond 5.00, W L Manchester 2.00, High Street Garage 1.00, Berean Class 5.00, and others. Previous acknowledgments totaled $33.00 and $3.00 and smaller gifts from multiple friends.
Bristol Council 379 Knights of Columbus held a session Wednesday with District Deputy John E. Murray of Newport as guest speaker. A timoker i to be held on Friday evening Dec 21 and the New Year's Eve party slated for Monday Dec 31. Plans for an entertainment on Feb 1 and 12 were announced with Guneras School auditorium secured from the School Committee.

Kes Harold Wo Baker conducts morning sermon at 10 45 and evening sermon at 7 30 at Court Street church. Jesse Richardson leads Sunday service at 10 45 with Sunday school at 12 00 and 7 00 evening evangelistic service. Wednesday prayer meeting at 7 30 includes singing and invitations to worship.
The quarterly conference of the State Street MEF Church will be held Friday evening December 28 at 7 30 o clock. Rev Dr Edward F Wells Providence District Superintendent presides. Reports from all church departments will be presented and a full list of church officers and committees will be elected for the next conference year.
