Schools face 180 day rule and storm closure risk
The superintendent reports 180 school days required by 1927 law. 36 weeks at five days weekly plus 20 non session days total four weeks. He urges the calendar to ensure storms or staff days do not reduce session days below legal minimum. Several agenda items follow on transportation, equipment, audits, and facility uses.
