Funeral of Walter DeForest Brown Held in Rehoboth
The funeral for Walter DeForest Brown who drowned when his canoe overturned last Friday was held yesterday. The service at his home on State Street began at 10:80 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Locke, many attendees, and a hymn. Bearers and attendees, including National India Rubber Co. officials and local workers, lined the procession. Burial followed at Rehoboth Cemetery beside his relatives, with a large floral tribute from U.S. Rubber Co. directors and many local groups.
